Pregnancy Tracking Series to 2-9 months |Jessica&Roni| Frederick, MD

5 Months:

Dear diary… ok, I think I am over excited about mom-to-be Jessica to write on this blog with the monthly tracking of her 1st pregnancy!
Jessica and Roni have a special place in my heart, they are THAT couple that are a perfect match and they are nice and kind.

Ok, now that is obvious, let's talk about this project. When I first learned about Jessica’s pregnancy, was on her wedding day, in June 27th, 2015 (post to come soon about their day). She waited me to come to the room to start photographing the girls getting ready. As I step in the room she shares the news: Daysy, I didn’t want to tell you over the phone, but I am pregnant! And just like that I had to cheer up with the news, that was GREAT! She also said: I want to do a pregnancy tracking photoshoot. OK, I WAS IN HEAVEN NOW!
And that, my friends, it is what this post is about… This post will grow along with her baby bump, every month with a new update and a bit of an interview to see how things are going for both mom and dad of the year.
Enjoy, because I am!

Month #2: Love Size

Daysy: What was your reaction when you found out you were pregnant just a few days before your wedding?
Jessica: Haha this is kind of funny. But oh well, two days after a missed period I decided to do a drug test, but the weird part of this is that I bought on my way to the gym. I couldn’t wait to get home and do the test, so I assume it was okay for me to do in the gym’s restroom ( to tell you the true I never thought it would come out positive). So, I did the test, waited a few seconds, and tcharam: POSITIVE! Imagine my reaction, my heart was pounding so fast, I couldn’t feel my legs. It felt so surreal. Fine, I ran upstairs, went home and did the second test. Again, positive. So, it was true! I was pregnant!!! There are no words that can’t describe my feelings at the moment, I had to stare at the test for hours before telling anyone.

Month #3: Lemon Size

Daysy: Have you had any morning sickness? How are handling it?
Jessica: Oh God. Second month was not very pleasant, I woke up every morning feeling like I was slowly dying (seriously). I was not able to eat, or see food in front of me. But, after the beginning of third month, all morning sickness went away, and the only thing that I feel sometimes is very sleepy.

Month #4: Orange Size

Daysy: Any cravings?
Jessica: No crazy cravings. I’ve only had one which was to eat carrot, chocolate cake.

Daysy: And how exciting to find out about baby's gender in a few days!! Do you have any guess if it's going to be a boy or a girl?
Jessica: Very Very exciting. I’m getting anxious every minute. But, I believe it is a girl :)

Month #5: Apple Size

Daysy: Have you felt the baby moving yet? And how did you fell when you realized that was a baby moving?
Jessica: Yes! oh mine yes! I first felt little butterflies, but as the weeks passed by I started feeling little bumps. It was so magical! I even recorded the day- it was September 04, 2015 :)

Daysy: How did it go with the the ultrasound to check on the baby's gender?
Jessica: We first went to check the baby's gender when I was 17 weeks and 3 days, but unfortunately the baby had its legs crossed :( The radiologist made several movement with the machine against my tummy but even so, the baby wouldn't change positions. BUT, Because of her experience she gave me a hint that it was a girl! So we'll wait and see till I complete 22 weeks to make sure we will have a princess at home.
